Shalok, Fourth Mehl:

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਨਾਮ ਰਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ॥
हरि हरि अम्रितु नाम रसु हरि अम्रितु हरि उर धारि ॥
Har har amriṯ nām ras har amriṯ har ur ḏẖār.
The Ambrosial Nectar of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is sweet;
enshrine this Ambrosial Nectar of the Lord within your heart.

ਵਿਚਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਬੁਝਹੁ ਸਬਦ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥
विचि संगति हरि प्रभु वरतदा बुझहु सबद वीचारि ॥
vicẖ sangaṯ har parabẖ varaṯḏā bujẖahu sabaḏ vīcẖār.
The Lord God prevails in the Sangat, the Holy Congregation; reflect
upon the Shabad and understand.

ਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਬਿਖੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਕਢੀ ਮਾਰਿ ॥
मनि हरि हरि नामु धिआइआ बिखु हउमै कढी मारि ॥
Man har har nām ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā bikẖ ha▫umai kadẖī mār.
Meditating on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, within the mind, the
poison of egotism is eradicated.

ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਚੇਤਿਓ ਤਿਨ ਜੂਐ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਭੁ ਹਾਰਿ ॥
जिन हरि हरि नामु न चेतिओ तिन जूऐ जनमु सभु हारि ॥
Jin har har nām na cẖeṯi▫o ṯin jū▫ai janam sabẖ hār.
One who does not remember the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, shall
totally lose this life in the gamble.

ਗੁਰਿ ਤੁਠੈ ਹਰਿ ਚੇਤਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ॥
गुरि तुठै हरि चेताइआ हरि नामा हरि उर धारि ॥
Gur ṯuṯẖai har cẖeṯā▫i▫ā har nāmā har ur ḏẖār.
By Guru's Grace, one remembers the Lord, and enshrines the Lord's Name
within the heart.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ਤਿਤੁ ਸਚੈ ਦਰਬਾਰਿ ॥੧॥
जन नानक ते मुख उजले तितु सचै दरबारि ॥१॥
Jan Nānak ṯe mukẖ ujle ṯiṯ sacẖai ḏarbār. ||1||
O servant Nanak, his face shall be radiant in the Court of the True Lord. ||1||
