ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ॥
सभ ते ऊचा जा का नाउ ॥
Sabẖ ṯe ūcẖā jā kā nā▫o.
His Name is the Highest of all.

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ॥
सदा सदा ता के गुण गाउ ॥
Saḏā saḏā ṯā ke guṇ gā▫o.
Sing His Glorious Praises, forever and ever.

ਜਿਸੁ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਗਲਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
जिसु सिमरत सगला दुखु जाइ ॥
Jis simraṯ saglā ḏukẖ jā▫e.
Meditating in remembrance on Him, all pain is dispelled.

ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਵਸਹਿ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥੧॥
सरब सूख वसहि मनि आइ ॥१॥
Sarab sūkẖ vasėh man ā▫e. ||1||
All pleasures come to dwell in the mind. ||1||

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਮਨਾ ਤੂ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥
सिमरि मना तू साचा सोइ ॥
Simar manā ṯū sācẖā so▫e.
O my mind, meditate in remembrance on the True Lord.

ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਗਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
हलति पलति तुमरी गति होइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Halaṯ palaṯ ṯumrī gaṯ ho▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
In this world and the next, you shall be saved. ||1||Pause||

ਪੁਰਖ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਸਿਰਜਨਹਾਰ ॥
पुरख निरंजन सिरजनहार ॥
Purakẖ niranjan sirjanhār.
The Immaculate Lord God is the Creator of all.

ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਦੇਵੈ ਆਹਾਰ ॥
जीअ जंत देवै आहार ॥
Jī▫a janṯ ḏevai āhār.
He gives sustenance to all beings and creatures.

ਕੋਟਿ ਖਤੇ ਖਿਨ ਬਖਸਨਹਾਰ ॥
कोटि खते खिन बखसनहार ॥
Kot kẖaṯe kẖin bakẖsanhār.
He forgives millions of sins and mistakes in an instant.

ਭਗਤਿ ਭਾਇ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਸਤਾਰ ॥੨॥
भगति भाइ सदा निसतार ॥२॥
Bẖagaṯ bẖā▫e saḏā nisṯār. ||2||
Through loving devotional worship, one is emancipated forever. ||2||

ਸਾਚਾ ਧਨੁ ਸਾਚੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
साचा धनु साची वडिआई ॥
Sācẖā ḏẖan sācẖī vadi▫ā▫ī.
True wealth and true glorious greatness,

ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੇ ਨਿਹਚਲ ਮਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
गुर पूरे ते निहचल मति पाई ॥
Gur pūre ṯe nihcẖal maṯ pā▫ī.
and eternal, unchanging wisdom, are obtained from the Perfect Guru.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰਾ ॥
करि किरपा जिसु राखनहारा ॥
Kar kirpā jis rākẖanhārā.
When the Protector, the Savior Lord, bestows His Mercy,

ਤਾ ਕਾ ਸਗਲ ਮਿਟੈ ਅੰਧਿਆਰਾ ॥੩॥
ता का सगल मिटै अंधिआरा ॥३॥
Ŧā kā sagal mitai anḏẖi▫ārā. ||3||
all spiritual darkness is dispelled. ||3||

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਿਉ ਲਾਗੋ ਧਿਆਨ ॥
पारब्रहम सिउ लागो धिआन ॥
Pārbarahm si▫o lāgo ḏẖi▫ān.
I focus my meditation on the Supreme Lord God.

ਪੂਰਨ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਨਿਰਬਾਨ ॥
पूरन पूरि रहिओ निरबान ॥
Pūran pūr rahi▫o nirbān.
The Lord of Nirvaanaa is totally pervading and permeating all.

ਭ੍ਰਮ ਭਉ ਮੇਟਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥
भ्रम भउ मेटि मिले गोपाल ॥
Bẖaram bẖa▫o met mile gopāl.
Eradicating doubt and fear, I have met the Lord of the World.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਗੁਰ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲ ॥੪॥੩੦॥੪੩॥
नानक कउ गुर भए दइआल ॥४॥३०॥४३॥
Nānak ka▫o gur bẖa▫e ḏa▫i▫āl. ||4||30||43||
The Guru has become merciful to Nanak. ||4||30||43||
